Every photo here is one of ours, taken on a real job. Strip outs, framing, sheeting, setting and sanding. Plastering is a trade you only notice when it has gone wrong, so this is what doing it properly looks like along the way.
About us
A family team, and a local apprentice
Tim Lancaster has run Lancaster Plastering Services out of Quirindi since 2017. It is a family outfit, with a local apprentice coming up through the trade, and Tim is a fully licensed tradesman.
The work covers new builds, renovations and repairs, which around here can mean anything from sheeting a new home on a property to pulling down a sagging dining room ceiling in town and hanging a straight one in its place.
What people tend to write about afterwards is not the plaster. It is the quote turning up in writing the same day, the job starting the week it was promised, and the room being left clean at the end of it.

What we do
Plastering, all of it, properly
Small or big, as one customer put it. A single patch after a leak is as welcome as a full house.
New builds
Hanging and setting a whole house from the frame up. Ceilings, walls, cornice, and every joint taken through to a paint ready finish.
Renovations
Tired rooms opened up, straightened and brought back to life. Tim has turned old lounge rooms into bright modern spaces and reworked whole buildings room by room.
Repairs
Sagging and bowing ceilings, water damage, cracked joints and patch work. Pulled down, cleaned up and replaced properly rather than papered over.
Ceilings
Flat ceilings, raked ceilings, stepped bulkheads and suspended steel frames, with the recessed lighting cut in and finished square.
Outdoor and wet areas
Alfresco ceilings, verandah linings and bathrooms sheeted in the right board for the job so they hold up to weather and steam.
Quotes and clean up
A straight quote on site, put in writing the same day, and the room left clean at the end. A skip bin gets organised when a job needs one.

Tim and Jack done an absolutely amazing job on our dining room ceiling. From a bowing unlevel ceiling that was an eyesore to a straight clean ceiling incredible! Pull down and remove as well as put up a new one cant thank them enough for the fantastic job 100% recommend Lancaster Plastering done right.
I find Tim to be honest and reliable and he knows his business, he makes practical suggestions that I have found to be the best way to go, yet he respects the owner's choice should it differ, and he discusses issues in layman's terms so there is no confusion. I would highly recommend Lancaster Plastering to anyone wishing to improve or undertake renovations on their home, office or business. You won't regret it.
He was very fast in his response to my inquiry, he gave me a few suggestions for the required work and gave me a great on the spot quote and followed it up via email that same day, I booked the job in and it was scheduled quickly for the following week! The work was completed within 3 business days, Tim did a fantastic job, left the room clean and even organised an on site skip bin for the rubbish.
I cannot thank Tim from Lancaster Plastering Services enough for the repairs he completed to our home. We will be using Tim in the future and will definitely be recommending him to our family and friends, as we are extremely happy with his work ethic and service provided.
Tim was fantastic. He turned my tired old lounge room into a bright new and modern space. Highly recommend Tim and will use him again.
